Mailing Lists

A mailing list gives a group one address: mail sent to [email protected] reaches every subscribed member, and the panel can also compose and send announcements to the list directly, with per-recipient unsubscribe links handled for you.

Creating a list

Name plus domain builds the list address (name@domain); an optional description helps you remember what it is for. The list works immediately: no separate list server, no moderation queue to configure.

Members

The member dialog manages the roster: add one by email and name, or bulk import by pasting email,name lines, previewing the parsed result, and importing (duplicates are skipped and reported). Each member carries a status: subscribed (receives mail), unsubscribed, or bounced; you can flip statuses per member or remove members outright. Only subscribed members receive list mail.

Campaigns from the panel

The compose dialog writes an announcement without leaving the panel. Send Test delivers it to your own address with a [TEST] prefix; Send to All asks for confirmation and then delivers to every subscribed member.

Managing lists

Rows show the address, subscriber count (click it for the member dialog), messages sent, and status; actions cover compose, enable/disable (which adds or removes the alias at the mail-server level) and delete, the latter behind a typed DELETE confirmation because it removes the roster and history irreversibly.

Access

Behind the email license feature and local mail, and a ROOT/ADMIN page by default; visibility follows the roles and permissions chain when granted more widely. Lists, members and campaigns are also manageable over the External API.
